MICHAEL COOK - From the deep, dark hills of Southeastern Kentucky, Michael Cook has been researching the unknown since 2000. What began as a surprise and frightening encounter with the creature known as sasquatch, lead Cook to where he is today; on the front lines of cryptozoology research. Cook has been a dedicated "Boots on the Ground" researcher since the beginning. "I believe that the only way to find answers is to go out there and search," said Cook in a recent interview. "You can't expect to get results from sitting on your butt, watching a TV show, you have to go into the woods, into the unknown, and search for what you are looking for. Bigfoot isn't going to come in, sit at your dinner table, and discuss its existence…," Cook continued. After a much needed hiatus to focus on family and personal growth, Cook has returned to the woods, to the cryptozoology world to continue the research he is passionate about. Described by his colleagues as "the consonant professional," Cook is collaborating with researchers and teams across the country and around the world. The search for answers surrounding Sasquatch, MothMan, Chupacabra, Loch Ness, Extraterrestrials, and other unexplained phenomenon will continue. For Cook, the journey is far from over.
