Bigfoot Documentaries: Bill Lancaster & She-SquatchersShe-Squatchers (Jen & Jena) welcome Bill Lancaster from Bilco Productions to THE JOURNEY Radio Show to discuss their documentary, Cultured Bigfoot. They've also begun their next Bigfoot documentary!
Bilco Productions Photography & Multimedia Photographer, Bill Lancaster Bill and Amy are a husband and wife team living in southwest Virginia. Together they are small business owners who also enjoy following cryptozoology and other fringe subjects. With Bill’s background in photography the couple decided to venture into movie making as a way to further engage their interests. Their first film is a documentary called “Cultured Bigfoot” it’s the result of this inspiration. Bill and Amy hope to use the experience gained from this their first documentary to further develop their shared passion into future film projects. Photography has been a lifetime pursuit for Bill. As a youth he admired Ansel Adams, but his appreciation for black and white photography truly developed in high school, where he took classes in photography, developing, and printing. His early work experience included darkroom development and printing, as a photographer apprentice at Olan Mills. Over the years he continued to experiment with photography until his wife urged him to enter a contest with the “Appalachian Photography Salon”. He won 2nd place. Since then Bill has added several notable achievements, including 3rd place in the “2010 Bristol Rhythm & Roots Reunion Photography Contest”, along with many honorable mentions from other local photo contests. His work is also featured on the Grammy Nominated Album “At This Point In Time”, by local Singer Songwriter P.J. Steelman, as well as on nationally acclaimed touring band “After The Crash”, web site and album. Today he focuses his energy on creating Fine Art Images, of Local and Regional interest, capturing beautiful Landscape and Architecture. He will also use an artist touch to deliver eye catching images for, event photography, wedding, family, bands, etc. His work has been featured in many of the galleries, and restaurants in the area. At present you can “Like” Bilco Productions on FaceBook. Bill is proud in this digital age, to keep his work in the spirit of film photography. The image you get is what the eye see’s.
